Joe Sasso ’75 and his husband Steve demonstrate their commitment to Holy Cross’s cura personalis in two meaningful ways: volunteering every Move-In Day regardless of weather, and supporting the College’s future through smart estate planning.

This year’s Move-In was especially meaningful for Joe, who lived in Clark Hall during his sophomore and junior years. Looking beyond today’s hands-on volunteering, Joe and Steve have also planned for tomorrow’s impact by naming Holy Cross as an IRA beneficiary and making annual tax-free Qualified Charitable Distributions.

Their thoughtful approach allows them to witness their support in action today while ensuring lasting impact for Holy Cross students—especially LGBTQIA+ programming—for years to come.
